Art .106. Helmet The helmet must be a hard gear with international certification.
- On mass start the hard headgear must have a regular shape and may not have protrusions or ends
- On time trial race the hard headgear can present a profiled shape with profiled ends
- Each skater is solely responsible that his personal equipment meets the highest safety criteria in order to obtain the utmost safety of the skater
- The helmet must be well fastened on the head in conformity with the safety instructions of the manufacturer
- A skater who removes his helmet before the end of the race shall be disqualified
